Course Outline and Method

少人数クラス形式を活用し、意欲を引き出す参加型授業を目指す。
生命科学分野においてノーベル賞を受賞した研究者の業績について、その背景と意義を調べ、グループごとに発表する。発表を通して生命医科学分野の研究の意義について学ぶとともに、資料の調査方法、パソコンを用いたプレゼンテーション資料の作成方法、およびプレゼンテーション技術を身につける。プレゼンテーション後には、その内容について講義内で教員および受講者が質問やコメントをする。
また学内の学術情報関連施設（メディアセンター）の利用方法や研究関連施設（廃水処理施設）のしくみについて学ぶ。

Student Attainment Objectives

１）生命医科学科での学びにおける目標をもち、能動的に学習することができる。
２）与えられたテーマについてのグループ学習に、積極的かつ協調的に参加することができる。
３）パソコンを駆使したプレゼンテーションの基本的技術を習得し、実際のプレゼンテーションで活用することができる。

Class Format

対面授業を14回実施する。

Recommendations for Private Study

本授業内で6回行われるテーマについてのグループ発表では、事前に十分な準備が求められる。プレゼンテーション資料の作成に必要な参考文献をグループメンバーで分担して読むことで作業の効率化を図ることが望まれる。また、必要に応じて担当教員とメールなどでコンタクトを取り、助言を得ることができる。
