Course Outline and Method
グラフ理論について講述する。特に１次元のトポロジー（位相幾何学）としての側面に重点を置き、一筆書きの問題、オイラー・ポアンカレの定理とその証明、多面体の種類といった問題について考察する。
Student Attainment Objectives
公式や解法を覚えて、当てはめて、計算して、わけもわからず答えを出すという数学ではなく、グラフという素朴な対象について自分の頭で考える方法を体得すること。

原則として対面授業。
Recommendations for Private Study
自分の頭で考える練習をするのが目的で、講義はそのきっかけを与えるものに過ぎない。当然、講義内容について乗り物の中や、その他ぼんやりしている時間にそこはかとなく思い返してみることは大事である。しかし路上で考えにふけることは、我々大学教員はよくやっていることではあるが、交通安全等の観点から学生諸君にはお勧めできない。
