Course Outline and Method

現代社会において私たちが身近に感じることのできる諸問題を取り上げたテキストを使用して、それら諸問題についての英文の読解、短い聴解、文章の作成などを行います。
いわゆる「批判的思考」に関する定説も確認しながら、かつ柔軟に、現代的な諸課題について考える作業を、ペア・ワーク。グループ・ワークなども行いながら進めていきます。
受講生に求められる課題や提出物に関しては、授業内またはmanaba+Rにおいてフィードバックをしていきます。

Student Attainment Objectives

受講生は、
・我々の周りで生起する諸問題に関する英文を読んで概要を理解することができる。
・現代の諸問題について、多様かつ批判的な視点から考察することができる。
・シンプルな英語を用いて、自らの考えを、口頭または書面で表現することができる
ことを目標とします。
