Course Outline and Method

*In the first class, we will meet up in the AIOL (All in One Lab) on the first floor of the East Wing, and then move to Experimental Lab 8 of the Mechanical Systems Department on the second floor of EX2.

The purpose of the robot creation experiment is to build a robot to solve a given problem and evaluate its performance. In the experiment, the participants were divided into groups of 3 or 4 people and made robots under certain conditions such as a budget.
In addition, grades will be evaluated based on normal scores, planning/interim/final reports, and final reports (reports).
Building robots requires comprehensive skills in robotics, control engineering, electrical circuits, and programming skills, so review related subjects.
[Lesson method]
Robot production is assumed to be production work at the university or work at home. Details will be explained in the first class.
Use Zoom if you want to do it remotely. In addition, communication will be done via manaba+R.

Student Attainment Objectives

In this experiment, through the task of building a robot according to a certain theme, the ability to plan, execute, and originality is cultivated.

Recommended Preparatory Course

Courses that should be taken in order to fully understand this class:

Information processing practice (C language), robot motion control, actuator engineering, analytical mechanics, etc.

In addition, we will inform you about the orientation of this experiment, topic provision, and group division at a later date.
