Course Outline and Method

この授業では、CNNが発信したさまざまなトピックに関する英語のニュースを聴き取り、内容を理解し、語彙や表現などを身につけることをめざす。また、レポーター各々の特徴ある英語に触れ、違いを知り、メディア英語への興味関心を深めるとともに、有効なスキルの習得を図る。

Student Attainment Objectives

・ニュース英語で使用される語彙を習得し、聴き取りや内容理解ができる。
・ニュースの背景を知り、報道する立場についても分析する姿勢を養う。
・さまざまなトピックに触れることで、現代社会の諸問題について多角的な視点を持つことができる。
