Course Outline and Method

この授業では、日本の地方自治制度の中で都市（地方自治体）がどのような存在であり、どのように運営され、その結果どのようなことが起こっているのかを紹介する。一般的には、日本の地方自治体は国の言いなりになっているように思われているかもしれない。しかし、実際には各自治体は国から一定程度自律的に政策を展開している。この授業では、自治体制度を概観したうえで、自治体がどのように政策を実施しているのかを見ていく。なお、授業スケジュールに記載している講義内容は変更の可能性がある。

Student Attainment Objectives

日本の自治体がどのような存在で、どのような役割を担っているのかについて理解し、それについて自分の考えを述べられるようになる。

Recommended Preparatory Course

政治学Ⅰ、行政学Ⅰなど政治学関連科目が望ましい。
