Course Outline and Method

競争法に関する英語文献の読解を通して、わが国独禁法のもととなった反トラスト法を中心に、競争法の基本的な考え方を学ぶ。日本語の専門文献を読解するのと同様に英語の専門文献を読み、 その内容を理解する。当授業では「ていねいな逐語訳」を目指します。電子辞書ですが、取り上げるテキストは専門書ですので、高校生時代のそれでは出ていない単語がでてきますので、できればかなり高度なレベルの「最高の辞典」をお使いください(例　CASIO　XD-SA9000WEなど）。

１．英語文献の読解により、法律・政治学に関する専門的内容を、より高いレベルで正確に理解できるようになる。
２． １．に必要な英語読解力を培う。

原則として、対面事業です。

・テキストの予定範囲を予め読んでおくこと。
・予習または復習して疑問に感じたことは質問すること。
なお、報告者は、担当箇所について、各自の訳を書いたプリントをクラスの人に配付したうえで、発表し、討論で理解を深めていく。
