Course Outline and Method

　『クオリティペーパーで読む私たちが生きる世界』(Stories of the World We Live – Unpacking Global Issues from Leading Newspapers 2024)をテキストに、現代、世界で進行中の事象を扱った記事を読んでいく。英文記事の読解力と同時に、語彙力の養成を図る。The New York Times, Washington Post, The Guardianから、Communicate, Work, Discovery, Survive, Sustain, Innovateをテーマにした記事を読み、現代社会の動向、その背景と歴史を知る。
　授業内で質問とコメントおよびそれらに対するフィードバックの時間を設ける。授業外で寄せられた質問・コメントについては、翌週の授業でクラス全体に紹介し補足説明をする。グループ発表へのフィードバックは、その場でクラス全体にする。
