Course Outline and Method

テーマ：『史記』『漢書』を読む
本授業では、『史記』と『漢書』を対象とし、注釈を含めて講読する。
歴史資料は、ただ読むだけでは研究にならない。複数の資料を比較し、矛盾を明らかにしたり、より多くの情報を引き出したりすることが重要である。
その点では、本文と注釈の対照は研究における基本的な方法であり、一次元的な原典の記述に対して幅広い情報を付与することができる。
本授業は、各回の講読について、全員が読解（書き下し）をおこない、担当者が現代日本語訳や典拠の確認、年表や地図との対照などをおこなう。

（対面授業）
対面授業で実施します。ただし、一部の授業回をメディア授業で実施することがあります。

【BCPレベル3～4】
（メディア授業）
メディア授業で実施します。ただし、実習・フィールドワーク科目、小集団科目（研究入門、基礎講読、専門演習）、卒業論文、大学院科目については、科目特性上、対面授業で実施する場合もあります。該当授業については個別にmanaba+R等で通知します。

本授業では、原典の書き下しを予習として義務づける。
詳細は第1回の授業で解説する。
第2回以降の授業では忘れずに予習をしてくること。

本授業では、授業の予習と授業参加（質疑応答等）を70％、検証テストを30％として評価する。

Advice to Students on Study and Research Methods

書き下しについて、苦手な学生は、初めのうちは訳本を利用しても構わない。漢文の読解は「慣れ」が重要なので、量を読んで慣れていただきたい。
なお、本授業は基本的には古代史が対象であるが、注釈書は中世に書かれたものであるため、中世史を専門とする学生は注釈書を中心にした担当部分の選択も可能である。
