Course Outline and Method
This class is designed to help students develop the confidence and skills to express their opinions effectively in English. Many students believe they cannot speak English, but this often stems from difficulty improvising and constructing sentences on the spot. To address this, we focus on learning practical expressions and using them immediately in conversation.
What You’ll Learn
Students will master expressions for:
Sharing personal opinions confidently.
Clarifying and confirming others' thoughts.
Agreeing or disagreeing politely and effectively.
Persuading others to align with their ideas.
Practice and Application
Through regular practice, students will:
Memorize and use expressions without relying on the textbook.
Actively participate in discussions, articulating their viewpoints clearly.
Provide reasons to support their opinions and engage others in meaningful dialogue.
This hands-on approach ensures students build the skills and confidence needed to communicate effectively in English, both in academic and real-world settings.
You are to take a 20-minute online class between weeks 7 and 9.
