Course Outline and Method

　英語を読むということは、3つの作業を要する。第一に、英語の文法的・語彙的理解である。第二に、それを母語（日本語）に置き換える作業である。さらに、専門分野等の背景知識にもとづく適訳の探索と背景自体の理解である。この授業では、この3つの作業をバランスよく実践する。
　この授業では政治学、国際政治の代表的英書や日本外交の英語テキストを読みながら、日本やアメリカの政治、戦争、平和、などについて考える。

Student Attainment Objectives

本講義を通じて、学生は、英語を通した国際政治や政策科学の理解の方法を獲得する。

Class Format

BCP停止の場合は、BCPレベル0～2の記載どおりに授業が行われます。
During the suspension period of BCP, classes will be as described in BCP levels 0-2.

In the case of BCP Level 3 or higher,　all the classes are to be taken Web only.
In the case of BCP Level 1 or 2, Classes in person will be more than eight times, Web Classes will be less than seven times.
