Advice to Students on Study and Research Methods

1. Please do not take Academic Skills 1 and 2 (or Basic Academic Skills and Intermediate Academic Skills) at the same time. Both classes are very challenging and should be taken in a sequence appropriate to your level of English. If you already have basic academic skills, you may choose to take only Academic Skills 2.

2. In class, we will use online platforms such as manaba+R, academic search engines, and collaborative document editing tools. Students are expected to bring a laptop, tablet, or other device to each class.
