Course Outline and Method

憲法というと、「自分とは関係のない」、「他人事」と思っている諸君もいるかもしれない。しかし、諸君は、主権者であり、人権主体であり、さらには、日本国憲法は、諸君に平和の担い手であることを期待しているともいえる。その意味で、憲法学は極めて身近な学問であるはずである。
　講義は、憲法理論、憲法解釈を単に頭で理解し、習得するにとどまらず、民主主義、基本的人権の尊重、平和主義といった日本国憲法の掲げる理念、精神を文字通り体得するようなものとなるよう心がける。

Student Attainment Objectives

今や、憲法「改正」問題が現実の政治日程にのぼりつつあるが、講義では、戦後憲法学が築いてきた学問的営為を学ぶことによって、憲法「改正」をはじめとした現代日本の憲法問題に対して主体的な判断ができるようになることも目指す。
