Course Outline and Method

　本講義の目的は、先ず原典資料としての漢文に習熟し、史学研究に必要な的確な読解力を身に付けることにある。従って正確な漢文訓読自体が最終目標ではなく、資料の性格・文体・時代背景等を、原文読解を通じて体得していってもらうことが最も肝要である。
　本講義では、わが比叡山延暦寺の僧・円仁（794-864年）の『入唐求法巡礼行記』全４巻（838年6月13日-847年12月14日）を引き続き選読し、９世紀唐末中国の時代相や社会情勢を辿ってゆく。本資料は、日中や欧米を問わず活用され続けている、屈指の滞唐ドキュメントである（巻３・４を予定）。
　受講生は、毎回の予習・復習の上、随時質問を行う。前回の授業内容については、必ず次回授業の冒頭で再確認を行うので、受講者も再吟味を積み重ねてゆく。

メディア授業で実施します。ただし、実習・フィールドワーク科目、小集団科目（研究入門、基礎講読、専門演習）、卒業論文、大学院科目については、科目特性上、対面授業で実施する場合もあります。該当授業については個別にmanaba+R等で通知します。
