Course Outline and Method
社会学には誰もが学ぶべき一般理論と呼べる王道は存在しない。したがって、社会学のものの見方を体得したいなら、学習者自身の興味関心と対話しつつ、多種多様な理論の間を逍遥していく必要があるだろう。
本講義では、社会学史を概観しながら、社会現象を理解し、解釈し、説明しようと試みてきた理論や学説について講義する。また、それらがどのような社会的背景のもとで考え出され、現代社会とそこに生きる個人をどのように捉えようとしてきたのかを解説する。
本講義では、社会学の成立前後から、確立期を経て、古典的な総合に至る20世紀中葉までの道をたどる。
【授業の方法】
本科目は大学設置基準ならびに立命館大学産業社会学部則、立命館大学大学院社会学研究科研究科則において、区分を面接授業とする。詳細な実施方法については、manaba+Rのコースニュース、「授業スケジュール」および「授業実施形態」欄を確認のこと。
