Course Outline and Method

⚫️リスニング能力向上を目的とする。具体的には、TOEICのリスニング・パートを集中的に訓練して得点向上を目指す。その為に必須であるメタ認知やリスニング・ストラテジー、情報処理理論、言語理解理論も学習する。

⚫️イギリスの歴史や文化に関するアクティビティーや英語によることわざ指導など、楽しみながらイギリスについて学べます。


Student Attainment Objectives

The scores of TOEIC Listening Parts will drastically improve (if only you work hard).
Students would enjoy using and learning English in this class with various activities.
Scores are given by attendance each time.
By the end of this course, students would;
- become familiar with some British customs and history and
- feel much less stressed and more confident in listening in English.

TOEICのリスニング・パートにおける得点が（真面目にやれば、ですが）劇的に向上します。
また、色々な楽しい活動を通して、英国の文化や歴史への理解が深まります。
後期終了後には、「『英語』で何かを聞く」ということに対して挑戦意欲が湧き、自信が持てる
ようになります。出席することで全成績に占める15％を獲得できます。

基本的には対面での講義です。

⚫️manaba+Rやシラバスの記載事項書を熟読する。教員の話をよく聞く。
⚫️何事においても、自分の頭で考えて、自主的に行動する。
⚫️「〜だと思っていた」＝推測であり、事実かどうか、必ず、裏を取る（確認する)。
⚫️困ったことがあればまず最初に自分の頭で考えて、自主的に行動する。
    それでも解決しない場合は、時間に余裕を持って教員に問い合わせる。
⚫️不明な点があれば放置するのではなく、時間に余裕を持って教員に問い合わせる。
