Course Outline and Method

映画史上の代表的な作品を鑑賞・分析し、「映像」を学ぶために必要な作品鑑賞力と分析力を養成する。各回、鑑賞した映画についての小レポートを作成し、映画体験を言語化する力を身につける。
対象には、日本映画、外国映画、ドキュメンタリー映画、アニメーション映画という4分野から、それぞれ代表的な作品をとりあげる。作品は授業当日に発表する。

Student Attainment Objectives

(1)映画を論じるための鑑賞力・分析力を養う。
(2)映画に対する歴史的理解を深める。

Recommended Preparatory Course

並行して「映画史」に関わる授業を受講することが望ましい。

Class Format

BCP停止の場合は、BCPレベル0～2の記載どおりに授業が行われます。
During the suspension period of BCP, classes will be as described in BCP levels 0-2.

BCP レベル1～2：全授業回を対面で実施。
BCP レベル3～4：全授業回を対面で実施する。あわせて、全授業回を録画し、授業実施後、録画データをOne Drive上に掲載して、manaba+Rを通じて案内する。

Recommendations for Private Study

上映作品に関連する映画（同じ作家の映画、国・時代が共通している映画、同じジャンルに属する映画）をあわせて鑑賞すること。比較を通じて、作家のスタイルや方法、映画史的潮流の傾向、ジャンルの法則などを考察すること。

日常点は、出席点ならびに毎回作成・提出を課す小レポートを意味する。

Advice to Students on Study and Research Methods

映画の鑑賞力ならびに考察力の養成を常日頃から意識し、授業で培った分析視角を生かして、習慣的に映画体験を言語化すること。
