Course Outline and Method
本科目はカナダのアルバータ大学において、特定の外国語における高度なアカデミック・ランゲージについて学び、外国語による専門的な学習や研究に必要な知識やスキルの獲得を目指す。授業では、アカデミック・ランゲージの理解に不可欠なリーディング、リスニング、ライティング、スピーキングを総合的に学び、また、特定のテーマ学習を通じて、アカデミック・ランゲージの知識やスキルを応用し、実践的に学びを深める機会も提供する。
Student Attainment Objectives
・英語の4技能（Reading,Writing, Listening, Speaking)を総合的に学習し、日常やアカデミックな場面でも活用できる運用能力を身に付ける。
・最終的な到達目標としては、本科目受講後に北米圏の大学の授業を現地大学生と共に受講できる英語の力量を習得する。
