Course Outline and Method

本講義においては、『プラダを着た悪魔』という作品をとりあげ、コミュニケーション力を高めていく。便利な慣用表現を状況とセットで覚え、すぐにその表現が口から出るように、繰り返し練習する。そして、英語スクリプトをもとに実際に演技をして、相互評価をしていく。また、アメリカ英語の口語表現やスラングにも注目する。後半には、英語スクリプトを日本語に訳してもらい、ドラマや映画において、吹き替え版にどのような工夫がいるのか、学生自身が考察をして発表する。このように、英語映画を通して、決まりきった枠組みを超えた新しい言語表現を理解し模索してゆくことを目的とする。

１．多様な映像作品の英文スクリプトの解釈を自ら、或は、クラスメートと共に構築することができる。
２．英文スクリプトに関する自らの解釈をパフォーマンスにより具体的に表現することができる。
３．英語ドラマや映画を、生き生きとした日本語に吹き替えることができる。
