Course Outline and Method

本授業は環境経済学を学習します。環境経済学は環境問題を経済学の視点から捉え、解決策を探る学問です。例えば、環境経済学では市場の原理を利用して、環境問題の解決を試みます。具体的には、財やサービスの取引に税金を課して、環境に対する影響の観点から望ましい財やサービスの取引量に誘導することが考えられます。本授業は教科書（大沼・柘植（２０２１）「環境経済学の第一歩」）に沿って授業を進めます。あらかじめ経済学の知識を身に着けておく必要はありません。授業内での演習や小テスト等を通して、経済学の知識を身に着けながら、環境問題への解決策を模索していきます。

環境経済学の基本的な考え方を説明することができる。
環境経済学の手法を使うことができる。
環境経済学の手法を用いて環境問題の解決策を提案することができる。
本授業は入門書を用いますが、経済学の基本をしっかりと押さえるため、皆さんが政策構想演習で環境問題を取り扱ったり、卒業後、企業や政府で環境問題に取り組んだりする際の重要な考え方・手法を身に着けることができます。
