Course Outline and Method

①映像の原点、②映像表現の方法と理解、③映像と社会・イデオロギーの理解、この三点を軸にしながら映像文化の諸相を検討していく。
また、この授業では、映像を専門的に学ぶにおいての基礎だけでなく、学問に取り組む上で基礎となるような思考や知識を提示する。映像が何か意味を有するとは何かを考えることを通じて、何らかの現象に意味を見出してしまう私たち自身についても考える。

Student Attainment Objectives

映像の歴史や基礎的な知識や表現方法、思考法を身につける。
映像メディアと社会との関係性に関心を持ち、考える態度を身につける。
映像を通じて、私自身について、そして私と他者とのあいだについて関心を持ち、考える態度を身につける。
上記の事柄をアカデミックに思考する基礎、そしてそれを書き表すものとしてのレポートの書き方を学ぶ。
