授業の概要と方法

Where does new technology come from? The development of new information and media technology requires skills and and knowledge from a wide selection of fields including engineering, design, and behavioural science. This course will emphasise the human aspects of information and media technology, with emphasis on how human factors influence design practices. While our central topic is information technology, we will draw upon subjects such as psychology, anthropology, design, and art, as needed.

There will be 9 in-person classes and 5 live streaming classes.
The class schedule is planned as follows:

In-person (対面授業): 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12回
Live streaming (WEB授業): 2, 4, 6, 13, 14回

Any changes, will be announced on manaba+R.

受講生の到達目標

• understand the importance of human factors in the design of new technology
• learn about fundamental theory and practice of human computer interaction design
• develop research and presentation skills which will be useful for post-graduate study
