Course Outline and Method

概要
新聞、雑誌、インターネットなどに掲載されたものの中から、日本の大学生用に厳選された記事を読みます。テーマはポップカルチャー、ファッション、ジェンダー、環境、歴史、文化など多岐にわたります。出典はThe New York Times, The Guardian, CNN News, などで、一見小難しい内容に思えますが、現代を生きる大学生としての知性を身につけ、視野を広げるきっかけとなります。

方法（本文読みは予習）
①パラグラフ読み→おおまかな内容確認→細かい部分を読み取る
②内容理解のためのエクササイズの答え確認
③自身の考えを一文ほどで書く

興味を持ったトピックについてmanaba上で自身の考えを書く課題を設けます。

主に現代の社会、文化について視野を広げることができる。
より高い読解力を身につけ、さらに各テーマについて自身の考えをもつことができる。
