Course Outline and Method
本講義では、いわゆる「日本型資本主義」の特徴を政治経済分析の立場から理論的かつ歴史的に考察し、その特徴を明らかにすることに努める。敗戦後の混乱から高度成長を経て「奇跡」ともよばれた経済成長を成し遂げ、一時はこれからの経済社会のモデルであるかのようにもてはやされた「日本型資本主義」だが、バブル崩壊後の経済不況とその後の長きにわたるデフレの影響により、近年では一転して根本的な改革が必要な失敗例とみなされるようになった。このように毀誉褒貶の激しい「日本型資本主義」だが、本講義ではその価値的評価よりも、その構造的特徴と変化の説明に重点をおく。そうすることで、時代の風潮に流されず、日本の政治経済上の課題についてより適切に理解できると考えるからである。

①日本の政治経済における構造的特徴という具体的な事象の考察を通して、現代の政策課題が有する特徴について多角的な視野から学ぶことができる。
②そのための方法論について、先行研究などを参考としつつ学ぶことで、社会科学の分析上のスキルを向上させることができる。
