Course Outline and Method

テーマ：中国古代の文化
『爾雅（じが）』には、中国古代における言語や科学技術、地理や動植物などが記述されている。本講義においては、受講生は順番で訓読し、またその部分について調査・発表をおこなう。また、発表担当以外の受講生も予習として訓読をおこない、かつ発表者に対して質疑やアドバイスを発する。
なお、『爾雅』はきわめて簡潔な記述であるため、単独では歴史研究に有用ではなく、注釈書（『爾雅注疏』）を講読の対象とする。

Student Attainment Objectives

1.漢文資料を読解できる。
2.文献資料を通して中国古代の文化が理解できる。
3.中国古代の文化について調査・分析ができる。

Recommended Preparatory Course

「漢文入門」など、漢文の入門講義を履修しておくことが望ましい。
