ネットワーク、光ファイバ通信、移動通信、電波伝搬、回路技術、インターネット、IoTなど，現代社会に必須な情報通信システムの基礎知識を現在進行中の技術開発の動向を踏まえて学習する。

身の回りにある種々のネットワーク、通信システムについてその概要、仕組みを説明できる。
通信システムを支える電波伝搬技術、回路技術、プロトコルの動作原理を説明できる。
