Course Outline and Method

デジタル画像および映像機器の基本を講述する。まず、従来からのアナログ技術による画像機器の概略を述べたあと、デジタルカメラ、デジタルビデオカメラの構造と特性を講述する。さらにディスプレイ装置、プロジェクタ、印刷装置などについても述べる。SD規格、HD規格それぞれの機器の特徴について理解する。デジタル画像・映像の記録メディア、すなわちVTR、DVDなどについて述べる。フィルム映像とデジタル映像との間の相互変換を行う、テレシネおよびキネレコの技術についても触れる。さらに、最近目覚しい進歩を示している立体映像の表示装置、没入型表示装置など特殊な表示システムについても講述する。

本講義は、映像メディア機器の基本的な知識を身に付けてもらうことを目標としています。このコースを学ぶにつれ、機器の原理をより理解して使用することができるでしょう。

(1) 日常的に行う小レポート(60%) 受講生の到達目標にすべて対応し、各回の授業内容の理解ができているかどうか。

(2) 期末レポート課題(40%) 受講者の関心に基づいてひとつのテーマを選び、それについての考えを問うもの。授業内容を活かしつつ論理的説得力をもって説明されているかを評価する。
