授業の概要と方法

英語Ⅰ、Ⅱ、Ⅲで身につけた総合的な英語運用能力を応用して、リサーチに基づいたプレゼンテーションを行う。プレゼンテーションの構成、表現、効果的な話し方、視覚補助の使い方などを実践的に学ぶことにより、事実情報や自らの主張を正確かつ効果的に伝達する力を伸ばすことを目指す。
小テストや授業内レポート・エッセイなどの課題については、授業内もしくはmanaba＋R上で講評を行う。

受講生の到達目標

・自分の毎日の生活に関連のある話題については、リハーサルして、短いプレゼンテーションができる。意見、計画、行動について、理由を挙げて、短く述べることができる。
- Can give a short, rehearsed presentation on a topic pertinent to his/her everyday life, and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions, plans and actions.
・ゆっくり明瞭に話されていれば、身近な話題に関するプレゼンテーションを理解することができる。
- Can follow presentations on familiar topics, provided speech is clearly and slowly articulated.
・話し終えた後、限られた数の簡単な質問に対処することができる。
- Can cope with a limited number of straightforward follow up questions.

英語によるプレゼンテーションを暗記してできるようになるまで、口頭練習を繰り返し行う必要がある。その他は授業時に指示する。
