Course Outline and Method

There are a variety of English-speaking countries in the world which have the colonization experience in common. In this course, students will examine some English-speaking countries from the perspective of colonialism; they will see how they have been developed by paying attention to similarities and differences among the countries. In class, students are encouraged to think critically about issues emerged from the colonial past.

This is a student-centered language class. Group work is encouraged; students' active participation is greatly expected.
