Course Outline and Method

映画史上の代表的な作品や作家、ジャンルに属する映画作品を鑑賞し、作品分析のための方法論を提示しながら作品を深く読み解いていく。あわせて、分析対象となる作品に対して、生み出された社会状況や産業的状況、映像技術などとの関連でも考察する。原則、全授業回を対面で実施する。

Student Attainment Objectives

・映画分析の手法を学び、読み解いていく力（リテラシー）を向上させる。
・映画の制作機構や産業的な知見を獲得し、作品外部の環境が映像表現に与える影響についても説明できるようになる。

Recommendations for Private Study

授業でとりあげた映画と関連する映画（同じ作家の映画、国・時代が共通している映画、同じジャンルに属する映画）をあわせて鑑賞すること。比較を通じて、作家のスタイルや方法、映画史的潮流の傾向、ジャンルの法則などを考察すること。
