授業の概要と方法
【授業の概要】
This course focuses on the skills students will need to speak about a topic in front of an audience, with a special focus on speaking from personal experience (e.g. introducing one’s interests or hobbies; speaking about a favorite book or place, etc.). Students will learn how to organize material for a presentation, as well verbal and non-verbal techniques for delivering it effectively. They will gain practice in creating PowerPoint slides and other visual aids, and learn how to incorporate these into a presentation.
本科目は、週1回・1単位の選択科目で、個人の経験に基づいた題材（例えば、関心事、趣味、好きな本や場所など）のプレゼンテーションを行う上で必要な技術を英語で習得します。また、プレゼンテーションの構成や効果的な言語・非言語メッセージの伝え方なども学びます。
2024年度は、TOEIC L&R®テストで350〜500点の取得者（または同等レベルの学生）を対象にした定員25名の1クラスのみ設けられます。抽選科目なので、このレベルに合致する受講希望者のみ、受講申請をしてください。

Students should purchase the required textbook from the Co-op (Seikyo) bookstore before the first class. Details of the textbook can be found on manaba+R. 第1回の授業までに自分のクラスを確認し、指定されているテキストを生協で購入して、第１回目の授業に必ず持ってくること。 なお指定教科書は、manaba+R ▶「産業社会学部生のページ」▶「産業社会学部の履修」<外国語科目：教科書>に掲載しています。
