Grade Evaluation Method (Note)
Late papers and assignments will be penalized 1 point or 1/2 of a letter grade per day late. For example, if your submitted assignment is worth 5 points and submitted after the deadline, you'll receive 4 points. Similarly, if your essay is worth an A and submitted three hours after the deadline, you’ll receive an A- instead. This policy applies to all assignments in this class, including PPT slide submission for the presentation. However, this rule does not apply if you are seriously ill or in an emergency. You are responsible for informing the instructor of such circumstances, and you are asked to present proof.
2. Attendance policy
Your attendance is crucial for making this course valuable and beneficial for everyone. Therefore, students must attend and participate in at least ten classes to earn credits. Students who fail to meet this attendance requirement without an acceptable excuse will not receive credits.
