Course Outline and Method

　政策科学の学びにとって、コア科目最終段階で学びの集大成として位置付けられるのが学士論文（卒業論文）である。これは、学士（政策科学）として卒業する諸君の質の保証となるものである。学士論文単位認定には充分な質と量の伴った学士論文の提出が必須であり、この授業ではその執筆・作成指導を行う。
　卒業までの4年間における学習の成果が何であるのかを自分自身で認識することは、在学期間の意味づけを学生自身が積極的に行い、ひいては学生自身の研究を客体として対象化するためにも不可欠である。学術的な性格をもつ、公表に耐える学士論文となることが望まれる。

Student Attainment Objectives

　学士論文の完成および提出を目標とする。

Recommended Preparatory Course

　受講者それぞれが持つ問題意識に関連した科目を積極的に履修することが望ましい。なお「政策構想演習Ⅲ」にて提出し評価された「学士論文研究計画書」がない場合、「学士論文」の受講に際して受講生は「学士論文研究計画書」を担当教員に提出しなければならない。

Recommendations for Private Study

　基本的には担当教員の指示に従うこと。ただし学士論文の完成には、授業時間以外での調査研究・執筆作業が決定的に重要であることとは言うまでもないだろう。完成に向けて、着実に、計画的に、授業外学習を進めること。

　「学士論文」（卒業論文）の提出を必須とし、平常点とあわせて成績評価を行う。未提出の場合は単位を授与しない。平常点とは、出席、授業時における報告や発言、担当者から出された課題の取り組み状況、提出課題の完成度などに基づいて評価されるものである。
