単なる方法論だけでなく、理論としても理解することが
実際の使用や応用に際し重要である。

初等的な線形代数と解析の知識は仮定する.
一つ以上の言語によるプログラミング経験(標準的な制御構文および関数(サブルーチン)の概念の理解と使用)を仮定する
