授業の概要と方法

This class aims to provide students with opportunities to learn English and explore different business fields through movies. During the course, students read articles related to the movies to gain background knowledge. They are encouraged to watch the movies without subtitles and understand the content. The class will involve active learning, including role-plays, narration exercises, and creating a cover letter video. Students will also learn how to critique films and create a poster summarizing their critique of a film of their choice and an analysis of the business industry covered in the film.

このメデイア英語のクラスでは、ビジネスシーンを扱った複数の映画を観てさまざまな業界を知ると同時に現場で用いられている英語表現を学ぶ。学習者は、映画に関する英文記事を読み、映画の背景知識を得ると共に、映画を字幕無しで理解できるようになることを目指す。クラスではロールプレイやナレーション練習、カバーレター動画作成を含めたアクテイブラーニングを行う。また、映画の批評の仕方を学び、各自の選んだ映画に対する批評と映画で扱われているビジネス業界の分析をまとめてポスター制作を行う。

授業は対面1２回、メディア授業2回で実施予定。
