Course Outline and Method

This course is designed for beginners who have little previous knowledge of the Japanese language to develop their listening and speaking skills in Japanese. This course offers students seminar-style classes. Feedback will be given in class.

Student Attainment Objectives

The students will be able to
1) use and comprehend commonly used phrases in daily communication
2) deliver personal information, experiences, simple comments, etc.in conversations in Japanese

Grade Evaluation Method （Note）

・全授業回数（ぜんじゅぎょうかいすう）のうち18回の出席（しゅっせき）を単位修得（たんいしゅうとく）の最低要件（さいていようけん）とする。 If the attendance rate of a student falls below 18 lessons, the student will not be able to successfully complete the course.
・3回遅刻（ちこく）すると1回欠席（けっせき）とする。If you are late 3times, you will be absent once.
