Course Outline and Method

　本講義は、基本的な英語読解スキルを習得することを目的とする。授業においては、映画スクリプトやアカデミックなテーマ等に関する文献を扱う。授業は、ペア・グループワークやディスカッション等を中心としつつ、インタラクティブに進めてゆくため、受講生の自主的・積極的な授業参加が期待される。尚、授業の具体的な実施方法については、授業実施形態欄を参照されたい。

Student Attainment Objectives

１．英語の発音記号や語彙意味について紙媒体の辞書、または、電子辞書を駆使し、精査・理解することができる。
２．様々な英語のレトリック、及び、読解スキルを理解することができる。
３．上記１，及び、２を活用し、読解内容について自己評価したり、クラスメートと積極的に議論したりすることができる。

1. 授業レポート: 56点満点（@4点満点x14回）（到達目標1,2,及び3に基づき各回A=+:4; A=3; B= 2; C 1; D=0点で評価する）
2. ディスカッション：14点満点
(到達目標1,2,及び,3に基づき、A+:13点以上、A: 11-12 点、B:9-10点、C: 8 点、D: 0-7点で評価する）
3. Final paper：30点満点
（到達目標1,2,及び、3に基づき、A+ 27点以上; A:24-26; B:21-23; C:18-20; D 0-17点で評価する）

1. 単位取得上、Final paper の提出を必須とする。
2. 科目の性質上、紙媒体の辞書、又は、電子辞書を毎授業持参することを必須とする。
3. 本授業内では、インターネットに接続可能な端末の使用は、原則不可とする。
