授業の概要と方法

This course will help students to develop their knowledge and awareness of sustainability from environmental, social and personal perspectives. Using research, discussion and presentations, students will realize how our daily lives affect the global environment and society. Students can consider some potential modes of behavior or actions leading to a more peaceful and sustainable future.

受講生の到達目標

This course will assist students in developing a range of important academic skills including:

- understanding and discussing some examples of global issues and possible solutions.

- using and understanding vocabulary and terms essential to the topics introduced in class

- developing, researching and presenting an individual topic related to class content

- writing summaries and personal opinions related to the class topics
