授業の概要と方法

読む・聞く・書く・話すという４技能を統合したアクティブ・ラーニングを通じて、これまでに身につけた英語コミュニケーション力をさらに伸ばすとともに、大学生らしく主体的に英語を学び、また英語を駆使して学ぶ、自立した学習者となる。より具体的には、「受講生の到達目標」に記載されたスキルに習熟する。
小テストや授業内レポート・エッセイなどの課題については、授業内もしくはmanaba＋R上で講評を行う。

受講生の到達目標

(1)聞くこと
・はっきりとなじみのある発音で話されれば、大学やアルバイトなど普段の日常生活にかかわる話題の大要と具体的事実を理解することができる。
・映像と所作が話の大筋を伝え、単刀直入な言葉遣いではっきりと話されていれば、かなりの映像作品を理解することができる。
(2)読むこと
・単刀直入に事実を伝える内容であれば、社会問題や自分の興味関心がある事柄に関するテクストを、まずまず間に合う程度に理解することができる。
(3)やり取り・話し合い
・自分の興味関心があることや大学生活に関して、日常おきまりのこと、あるいはそうでなくても、身近なことであれば、ある程度自信を持ってやりとりをすることができる。
(4)話すこと
・物語や実際の出来事を、口頭で説明することができる
(5)書くこと
・興味関心事であれば、身近な主題のあれこれについて、短い要素をひとつの流れに結びつけることによって、簡潔ながらも結束性のあるテクストを書くことができる。

Students should prepare and review class contents and revise materials covered in the textbook Reading and listening as much as possible to help them to succeed in the unit tests, midterm and final tests. Students should check course news and contents sections on Manaba+R to receive information on themes/assignments and upcoming class materials.
