Course Outline and Method
東南アジアと日本の自治体を比較すると、各国の歴史、制度、関係がみえる。地方自治の概念がいかに各国によって異なるかに驚きを禁じ得ない。東南アジアや日本の自治体を多角的に検討し、比較の視座として欧米の自治体も参考にしつつ、日本と東南アジアを地方自治という横軸で結びつける。
Student Attainment Objectives
１）日本の自治体の制度や歴史を選挙、法律、地域研究の観点から理解し、他国の自治体との比較をふまえて、地方自治を対象化する視野を獲得する。
２）東南アジアの自治体や政治について、諸外国の事例と比較してどのように発展してきたかを理解する。
