Course Outline and Method

教科書の動画・音声を利用して、聴き取り問題を中心に取り組む。各ユニットで取り上げる話題は、大学生同士のの出会いから始まって、友達付き合い、外食、買い物、旅行、スポーツや健康などである。様々な場面・場所で、様々な気分での若者らしいやり取りが、分りやすい英語で繰り広げられる。
　受講生は毎回、リスニングの空所補充問題や内容確認問題に取り組む。解いた後で正解を確認し担当者が、特に難しかった点や間違いやすかったポイントに解説を加え、総評していく形で進める。さらに各ユニットにおける話題や文法事項を活用する練習として、比較的簡単なライティング問題にも取り組む。

全ての授業は対面で行われる。

Recommendations for Private Study

教科書の各UnitのWeb動画や音声を、パソコン、スマホ、タブレットに無料でストリーミング再生できるので、問題の答え合わせをした授業の後でも、復習に積極的に活用すること。
　リスニング能力を高めるためには、答え合わせした後も、語彙を復習して覚え直すことも必要である。

Grade Evaluation Method （Note）

この授業の成績評価はＣまたはＦのみである。
単位を取得するためには、授業回数の最低3分の2以上の出席を必要とする。また、授業内で行う二回のテストを両方受験しないと単位を与えない。もし、テストの日が体育会系の試合と重なったり、学校感染症により欠席したりする場合のみ、代替課題の提出を認める。必ず申請して申し出ること。
