Course Outline and Method
本科目は、グローバル社会の理解を涵養する導入的科目です。日本を離れ、異なる文化や社会背景を有する海外の諸国・地域において、現地に赴くことにより当該地域に関する知識や理解を深めるとともに、グローバルな視野を育みます。異文化環境における体験を通じて、異なる価値観や生活様式による困難やストレスへの適応性・レジリエンスを高め、さらに「日本」や「自文化」を客観的に考察・評価できる力を養います。また、海外の諸国・地域におけるフィールドワーク／プロジェクトなど実践的な学習活動を通じて、現地の生活や文化、経済活動などを主体的・自律的に体験し、グローバル・コンピテンシーの涵養に不可欠な「しなやかさ」と「たくましさ」を体得します。
カナダのトロント大学で外国語学習や文化・社会・歴史等に関して学習します。また、大学での講義やフィールドトリップなどの実習活動を通じて現地の文化等への理解を深めます。外国語学習に関しては、4技能（Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking）を総合的に学びスキルアップを目指します。

Class Format
日本国内でのガイダンス、事前・事後講義、実習：BCPレベルならびに感染状況の悪化やその他の事態を考慮して、BCPレベル1～2、BCPレベル3～4の各状況に応じ、募集要項またはmanaba+R等を通じて、担当教員より指示する。
現地での講義・実習：原則、派遣先国・地域、受入先機関・大学にて実施する。詳細はmanaba+R等にて連絡する。
