授業の概要と方法

This lecture course chiefly covers the period from Westphalia Treaty to World War II. A world system of the period is often called as modern world system that is to say inter-state system. The lectures will discuss the evolution of the system.

受講生の到達目標

Participating students will acquire basic knowledge and systemic understanding of modern world history, especially international political and economic history from 19th century onward. Those knowledge are prerequisite for understanding contemporary world.

本科目の受講にあたっては、TOEFL（ITP)510点以上、TOEFL（iBT）64点以上およ
び同等以上の英語力が必要です。

In order to register for this course, students are required to have a
minimum TOEFL-ITP score of 510, TOEFL-iBT score of 64 or equivalent.
