Course Outline and Method

This course is designed to give a platform for JDP students to co-operate in teams to produce presentations to be delivered at the college’s 'Zemi Research Convention' event.

The course will encourage RU home and AU home students to co-operate to produce original research and a poster presentation on East Asia related, or comparative US-Asia related themes. The class will be team taught by several faculty who will supervise, advise and support the presentation production and rehearsal process, as well as giving subject specific advice where appropriate.

Classes will be conducted face to face.

Student Attainment Objectives

Primary Aims:
To broaden students knowledge of issues in East Asia through engaging in individual and group research leading to the production of a publicly presented team poster presentation in the Open Seminar Competition of the College of International Relations in late Autumn.
