アメリカの社会・文化の諸相に関わる主題を扱ったテキストを使用する。記事の読解を通して、これまでに学んだ英語のさまざまなスキルを基にして、語彙を増強し、今日的世界、文化の特質についての理解を深める。小テスト、提出課題については添削、採点後に授業内で講評を行う。

・この授業は全授業回を対面で実施します。ただし第1回授業は。教室での対面に加えZoomライブ配信も行います。
・授業詳細については、担当教員が授業科目の manaba+Rで知らせます。
・新型コロナウィルスに関わり、既往症や基礎疾患等により対面授業に出席できない方は、あらかじめ担当教員に申請してください。Zoomライブで授業に出席できるようにします。担当教員の判断により、あわせてZoomクラウド録画を配信する場合もあります。
