授業の概要と方法

This course provides an introduction to constitutional law, offering students a foundational understanding of the principles and structure of constitutions. It offers students who study policy science an opportunity to consider how constitutions enable the coexistence of citizens with diverse values.
The course begins with an examination of the constitution of Japan and proceeds to analyze common principles and structural features shared by constitutions in general. Students are expected to adopt a comparative perspective, using their own country’s constitution as a reference to better understand similarities and differences among constitutions.
The course will basically be conducted face-to-face, creating an interactive environment where students are encouraged to engage in discussions.

受講生の到達目標

- Students will be able to understand and explain the basic principles and structure of constitutions.
