Course Outline and Method

・アメリカの学生向けニュース番組VOAを通して、多様な英語を聞き、ディクテーション、オーバーラッピング、シャドーウイング等を活用し、語彙力とリスニング力の向上を目指す。
・間違えた問題を重点的に復習することで語彙力をつける。

Student Attainment Objectives

・ニュースで話される英語を聞く力を向上させる。
・ニュースで使用される英単語および英語表現を学習し、語彙力を向上させる。
・英語を聞き取る際や発音する際に重要な英語の音声変化の特徴を理解して、正しい発音とイントネーションで英文を音読することができる。
・多様な英語を聞き取り、対話することができる。

全授業を対面で実施する。

Recommendations for Private Study

＜予習＞
・各Unitのわからない語彙を辞書で調べておく。
・音声ファイルをダウンロードして、ニュースを聞き、音読をする。

＜復習＞
・小テストや単語テストに備えて学習する。
・間違えた問題をやり直しておく。
・授業内で紹介する各ニュースサイトを閲覧し、日常的に英語のニュースを聞く。

宿題(10%)、授業への参加度(20%)、音読活動 (10%)、受講生の到達目標すべてに対応して、学修到達度を確認する小テスト2回(20%)、検証テスト2回(40%)
