授業の概要と方法

In CALL 2 (Computer-Assisted Language Learning) , students engage in interactive learning through multimedia. Based on the skills acquired in CALL 1, students are expected to further develop listening and oral production skills with natural English pronunciation and rhythm by watching authentic video news reports, lectures and speeches through the ‘English Central’ website. They will practice reading passages aloud, shadowing news reports, narrating documentaries, and reciting speeches. They will also review grammar and practice listening with the online English-learning program called ‘Gyuto-e’ in and out of class.
Throughout the semester, students will receive feedback on in-class activities and assignments from the instructor in order to develop their abilities.
<CALL2 classes will be basically taught online due to CALL classroom restrictions this year. Details will be explained by the instructor in class.>

授業実施形態

CALL2クラスはCALL教室（情報語学演習室）環境の条件により、今年度は基本オンライン(Zoom)で授業を行います。
詳細は担当教員がmanaba+Rおよび授業内で説明する指示に従ってください。

Students are required to perform multiple tasks as assignments every week, including a considerable amount of exercises on ‘Gyuto-e’ and 'English Central.' Students should keep up to date with them by studying regularly in and out of class.

受講および研究に関するアドバイス

Students should come on time to class and should be prepared to do a variety of speaking, listening, reading and writing activities in class. Students are also asked to help each other and ask questions when they do not understand. All the assignments must be done without delay.
