Recommendations for Private Study

Be sure to prepare each unit of the textbook before class and review it again after class. Do all the assigned homework. Take notes in a notebook dedicated to this class. In the notebook, write the first draft of everything you do for this class. Also, keep track of vocabulary by listing all new words with definitions and examples, including those written on the board by the instructor. The notes and first drafts in the notebook will be the basis for the other components of the class so be sure to keep up to make your later study easier and more effective.
