授業の概要と方法

This course is an introduction to using a computer as an aid in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) studies and scientific research. Students will perform online video-based exercises to solidify skills introduced in their Reading, Listening, and Communication Skills courses. Students will also be performing Internet-related English activities, in which they will use the Internet as a tool for research, for communication, and for EFL study.Feedback will be provided during class and/or manaba+R.

受講生の到達目標

By the end of this course, students should be able to:
     ・understand English passages using important reading strategies such as predicting, skimming, and scanning.
     ・identify main ideas and details in the English passages.
     ・express a clear argument in agreement or disagreement with the topics, both in speaking and writing.
     ・foster learner autonomy through the use of the online workbook.
     ・further their EFL education beyond the classroom by utilizing online resources.

b) Be sure to complete any tasks assigned by your instructor the previous week.
c) You are responsible for any information you miss if absent.

成績評価方法(備考)

受講および研究に関するアドバイス

(1) 授業への10回以上の出席を単位取得要件とします。
(2) 初回授業でオンラインワークブックの登録と使用方法を説明します。必ず参加してください。
(3) 教員から指示があった場合、有線（ワイヤード）イヤホンを持参してください。イヤホンは100円ショップでも購入できます。
(4) 到達度を見る指標の一つとして、TOEIC®L&R IPテスト（オンライン）を実施します。各自、指定期間内に必ず受験してください。受験方法については、改めて連絡します。受験しない場合、また得点が200点未満だった場合に、総得点より5点減点します。450点以上の場合は5点加点します
注意: 原級復帰で履修中の科目での加点や減点はありません。
